Frank Habineza elected spokesperson of Rwanda political parties’ forum
The National Consultative Forum for Political Organizations (NFPO) in Rwanda has elected opposition leader and Senator Frank Habineza, the Green Party president as its Spokesperson.
“This renewed mandate, coming shortly after the trust bestowed upon me last year as a Senator, reflects a shared commitment to strengthening political dialogue and reinforcing the role of inclusive governance in our country,” Habineza said after the elections held on Thursday in Kigali.
He said the election comes at a time when constructive engagement and defense of the country’s national sovereignty is more important than ever.
He promised to work to ensure that the Forum remains a great platform for dialogue, consensus-building, and the advancement of democratic principles.
“I extend my sincere gratitude to all member political organizations for this renewed confidence. I accept this responsibility with clarity of purpose and a firm resolve to serve with integrity, independence, and dedication.”
